HIS EXCELLENCY DIKKO RADDA, Executive Governor of Katsina State

Born 10 September 1969 in Hayin Gada Town, a Fulani from Dutsin-Ma Local government area of Katsina State, Nigeria, Dikko Radda is a Nigerian economist and politician. He served as the director-general of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

His Excellency  was elected governor of Katsina State in the 2023 Nigerian gubernatorial elections.

As part of his notable achievements while in office, Governor Dikko Radda has not only prioritized security but also pioneered community-driven policing with intelligence gathering, building trust between security agencies and local communities thereby significantly, improving security in Katsina State.

Also, recognizing the importance of social welfare, Radda made the payment of state and local government pensions and gratuities a top priority. This commitment has positively affected retirees and their families in the state

Governor Radda’s administration has also achieved legislative milestones, including passing ten executive bills within the last seven months. These bills covered critical areas such as Assets Management, Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency, and the establishment of the Irrigation Authority.

His Excellency’s dedication to security, social welfare, and legislative progress earned him recognition as the Governor of the Year 2023.
