How does JUST 128BN affect the END SARS PROTEST? - Hafiz Oyetoro

Restructuring has become one of the most popular languages used in the Nigerian political space today. As such some Nigerians have adduced several factors responsible and necessitating a national reform in the country and one of such is the widely reported and alleged humongous salaries and allowances of the Nigeria’s law makers.

To this end and as an aftermath of the EndSARS Protest, Hafiz Oyetoro, a comedian and theatre arts practitioner recently published a post on his Facebook page to say “Please tell this Presenter that he should stop inciting the public against these honourable gentlemen of the Federal Legislative who have come to conscientiously serve Nigeria, after all, each senate member’s take home is not more than thirty million naira per month and the overall head cost of the senate is just 128BN in a year.”
