ZUBEE VILLA HOTEL OPENS FOR BUSINESS

Zubee Villa Hotel is officially open for business in Abuja.

The grand opening which was held at the hotel’s premises last week in Kubwa had in attendance very distinguished personalities among others.

According to the hotel’s pioneer manager, Andrew Terver Ker, the final opening has been that of a long journey.

“It has been a very long journey”, Andrew said. “But thank God, we are here today and our aim and objective is to create a difference in the hospitality industry in Kubwa”

Kubwa is a fast-growing satellite town in Abuja with hotels and resort centers emerging daily. With the unveiling of Zubee villa Andrew says “excellent service” is simply the edge the hotel has over its competitors.

“Excellent services”, Terver maintains. “The idea is, we have a lot of hotels in Kubwa springing out every day. But when your services are outstanding you would see the difference. You then discover that you are not competing with anybody, but what you have a lot of people don’t have, and you know you can attract customers. We are looking at having excellent services and nothing more than that”, he reiterated.

Zubee Villa Hotel is located off the popular ‘Nepa Road’ in phase 4, a high brow area of Kubwa.

“Nepa Road in Kubwa is a foremost road that everybody knows”, the Manager said. “We have two sign-posts, one at the extreme side of the entrance of Nepa Road, and once you are there you don’t need to ask questions or call anybody. The location of the hotel is fine. A lot of people don’t like noisy places. This hotel is not a noisy place, living within residential area, we have to maintain a lowkey operation”

The Bar

Many hotels embrace certain policies to enable regulation of possible excesses of prospective customers. But according to Terver, “We have no restrictions.

“If you want to operate a church, you can open a church. You can come in and lodge with a partner, there are certain things we don’t accept, adults of the same sex is not allowed in the same room. This policy is based on security reasons.

“Yes, we sell alcohol and we scrutinize our customers, not by putting them directly on check but we have our own way of checking our customers. We have cameras everywhere and eagle-eye security men. Nobody is going to harass you. But we have to put our eyes on who ever is within the premises. And we always let her customers know that security agencies can time to time come in to do some checking, it doesn’t mean you are being harassed. It is for you to feel confident that where you are, you are saved”, he concluded.

Aside the comfortable accommodation, event centre and executive bar, Zubee Villa Hotel has a standby functional power plant to guard against possible power upsurge and outage. The hotel is located on plot 6009 Cadastral Zone, Kubwa, FHA, beside Peter Haward School, Nepa Rroad, Kubwa, Abuja.
