Zubee Villa Hotel is officially open for business in Abuja.

The grand opening which was held at the hotel’s premises last week in Kubwa had in attendance very distinguished personalities among others.

According to the hotel’s pioneer manager, Andrew Terver Ker, the final opening has been that of a long journey.

“It has been a very long journey”, Andrew said. “But thank God, we are here today and our aim and objective is to create a difference in the hospitality industry in Kubwa”

Kubwa is a fast-growing satellite town in Abuja with hotels and resort centers emerging daily. With the unveiling of Zubee villa Andrew says “excellent service” is simply the edge the hotel has over its competitors.

9mobile equip 100 Teachers in Kano with Innovative Teaching Skills

Nigeria’s caring telecom brand, 9mobile, has organized a one-day train-the-trainer workshop for teachers in Kano in partnership with the Kano State Ministry of Education where 100 teachers were trained on innovative teaching skills. The teachers in attendance were drawn from both the Junior and Senior secondary schools across the ancient city.

Abdalla Uba Adamu, a professor of Media and Cultural Communication and immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) who was the resource person at the workshop, spoke on the theme - Promoting school enrolment and retention through innovative teaching methods and class management. He emphasized the important factors required to create an effective learning environment in the classroom.
