Rows of bookshelves line the quiet hall. Students are scattered at tables, reading and typing. AMA EBONY sits at a corner desk, focused on her notes. A male student, KOLA, approaches with a confident smile.

KOLA: (leaning casually on the desk) Ama Ebony, you always look so serious. Don’t you ever take a break?

AMA EBONY: (looks up briefly, calm but firm) Breaks are for when the work is done, Kola. Exams don’t wait for charm.

Kola shifts uncomfortably, realizing others nearby are listening. A couple of students exchange knowing glances.

AMA EBONY: (smiles faintly, picking up her pen again) That’s the point, Kola. Clarity saves everyone time. Now, go focus on your own books — they’re waiting too.

Kola chuckles awkwardly and walks away. Ama Ebony returns to her notes, unbothered. The students nearby nod in quiet admiration.
