AND THE STAFF OF OFFICE REEMERGES

 

In the wake of the now rested #EndSARS protest the staff of office aside other items belonging to the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu was stolen from his palace by rampaging youths.

 

The situation initiated a standing request that the staff of office be returned in 24 hours. Of course, that didn’t happen. Hence the traditional priest settled to place a curse on the fellow that committed such seemingly unpardonable crime.

 

But today from media reports we have it that the stolen staff of office has suddenly and mysteriously reappeared in the vandalized palace.

As tradition demands, ritual rites was subsequently held at Isale Eko to welcome the Oba and his staff of office to the palace.
