I am a businessman. I look at things from an economic perspective - Atiku

Former Nigeria's Vice President, Atiku Abubakar via his twitter handle kicks against the recent hike in prices of PMS. See the screen shot of the tweet below:
Atiku:
“I reject the increased electricity tariffs. Coming out of the lockdown,
Nigerians need a stimulus, not an impetuous disregard for the challenges they
face. Many Nigerians have not earned an income for months, due to no fault of
theirs. This increase is ill-timed and ill-advised.”

It Costs About N400, 000 To Treat One COVID-19 Patient – El-Rufai

It costs about N400,000 to treat each patient of Covid-19, according to Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State as published on Channelstv.com.
The governor who made the declaration at the executive meeting of the traditional rulers also called on northern traditional rulers not to relent in spearheading the campaigns to avoid the spread of corona-virus pandemic in the region, stressing that the cost of treating Covid-19 patients is very expensive.
Adding that treating the infected is digging a big hole in government’s coffers, he however

“It is on record that the this government rode to power through the popular mass protest against similar action taken by Jonathan administration in 2012. With this action, it does appear that the APC government is taken Nigerians for granted.
“Be that as it may, and as you all know, the organised labour and the civil society collaborators are seriously mobilising to engage the government in a peaceful, nonviolent protests across the nation. SSANU is a member of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and we are fully ready to carry out the directives of our centre (NLC) as soon as we receive the sigal,
“The Senate of UNILAG (as expected) has also come out solidly in defence of Mr. Vice-Chancellor and descended heavily on the Pro-Chancellor and the Registrar, who are seen to be carrying out the mandate of the Visitor as exemplified in his (Mr. President) Anti-Corruption crusade.
“In doing this, the Senate and its collaborators have unwittingly, and hiding under the technicality of due process, attempted to demonise Babalakin and his Council, while canonising itself as the technically ” all in all” and most supreme organ of the university over and above the Council.
“Mush as we wish to remain neutral in the UNILAG matter as much as possible, SSANU and indeed Nigerians and the international communities of Anti-Corruption like Transparency International are keenly waiting to see how the matter would be decided in UNILAG.

DOUBLE DATING
TO IMPRESS HIS FRIEND JOHN CHATS WITH MICHAEL ABOUT HIS HOLIDAY ROMANCE WITH BUNMI. BUT THEN IT ONLY TURNS OUT THAT BUNMI IS MICHAEL’S FIANCEE
This story is set in the day at a leisure park in Lagos, Nigeria.
MICHAEL: Wao! John, it’s been ages since we last met.
JOHN: Yes. But I was in your neighbourhood last week, I asked after Saint and I was told you had moved.
MICHAEL: Even if I hadn’t moved you would have found it difficult tracing me with the name “Saint”. I am known as Mike around here You know, my real name. So how do find Lagos?
JOHN: Oh, wonderful. The ladies are really sweet. I travelled to Jos with one angel last week and we really had a great time together. S*x with her was hmmn… fantastic!
MICHAEL: Hmn… Can see you are still the same sexy old camel.
JOHN: Blame me not. Nature is the guilty one here, you know. Well, you seem to be waiting for someone here at the park … who is the lucky person?
MICHAEL: Ofcourse, I am waiting for … eh, what’s the problem? What are you starring at?
JOHN: Wao! (spotting Bunmi approaching) I can’t believe this …
MICHAEL: (confused) Can’t believe what?
JOHN: (both starring at Bunmi approaching) Th – Tha – That is the lady I travelled to Jos with last week. She must be looking for me. B – bu – but how did she know I could be here? Perhaps, she is only passing-by and just sighted me … Hey, she is almost here … Hi, Bunmi. Good to see you again so soon. (Silence as all seem dumbfounded at Bunmi’s arrival worsened by her shocking and hlpless stares at Michael). Hey, you two are just staring at each other… have you two met before?
MICHAEL: (sadly) Sure. Bunmi here has been my fiancée for years … So sorry, I never really told you about her.
JOHN: (shockingly) What?!

As COVID-19 spreads, don’t lose track of malaria
Mosquitoes
don’t practice social distancing. They don’t wear masks, either.
As COVID-19 spreads across the globe, it’s important to remember that the world’s deadliest animal hasn’t taken a break during this pandemic.
Mosquitoes are out biting every night, infecting millions of people with malaria—a disease that kills a child every other minute of every day.
