At the 34th Synod of the Diocese of Lagos, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) today, I gave the assurance that our administration will stop at nothing to ensure Lagos remains safe.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State made the submission in his post via his official social media handle today.

"We know we have issues to deal with as a country in terms of security and Lagos will certainly be leading that conversation because we know how critical this State is to the nation", the message read. "Our state is the melting point for our nation; where anybody can come in with a lot of aspirations and do very well.

"Lagos is a state that gives hope to a lot of Nigerians. Lagos is the state that gives hope to all of Nigeria. We cannot afford any security lapses.

"I can assure you with every sense of commitment that we will stop at nothing to make sure Lagos remains safe and secure", the message concluded.
