                                         TANKO

This village will rise again. This village will once again taste good life, a life of comfort and plenty, so says the gods. (While Townspeople now begin to rejoice, Tanko zeroes in on Chinedu, and shrieks, everyone remains quiet). But then, on the condition that (pointing at chinedu) he is appointed to manage the farms, so says the gods. (there is jubilation in the air).

NARRATOR

Please, ask the gods, who should be king of this village since the former has gone to join his ancestors. (he does so, once again casting his strings of divination).

TANKO

(looks into the crowd, zeroes in on Jibola)

Chief Jibola! You are the chosen one.

Other chiefs come forward and invest Jibola in royal robes and crown while Townspeople dance round him, paying homage.

ROYAL BARD

Kabiyesi, you’ll last long to rule us. Kolanut lasts long in the mouths of them who value it.

Heavy bata drumming materialises and ROYAL BARD dance off to the rhythm. Suddenly, lighting (the gods) strikes Tanko dead, everyone watches motionlessly, gapping, stunned.

Narrator turns to look at the corpse, shakes his head slowly, starts away.

 BLACKOUT.

Taking the stigma out of adult toy shops

When most people think of adult toy shops, the first thing that comes to mind is a seedy store filled with sleazy-looking people. However, this stereotype could not be further from the truth! Adult toy shops are becoming increasingly popular, offering various products for people of all ages and interests.

So if you're curious about adult toys, don't be afraid to check out your local shop!

What are adult toy shops, and what do they sell?

Adult toy shops are stores that sell products designed to enhance sexual pleasure. These can include vibrators, dildos, bondage equipment, and lubricants. Many adult toy shops also sell DVDs and other media featuring adult content.

Some stores may focus on a particular niche, such as BDSM or gay and lesbian customers, while others may carry a wide range of products. In recent years, the popularity of adult toy shops has grown substantially, as more people are becoming comfortable discussing and exploring their sexuality. This trend will likely continue as taboos surrounding sex continue to break down.

Catch-Up: Habib Yoghurt

According to Wikipedia, Yogurt is a food produced by bacterial fermentation of milk. Hence, yoghurt is regarded as a “milk food”. The bacteria used to make yogurt are known as yogurt cultures. Fermentation of sugars in the milk by these bacteria produces lactic acid, which acts on milk protein to give yogurt its texture and characteristic tart flavour. Cow's milk is the milk most commonly used to make yogurt. Milk from water buffalo, goats, ewes, mares, camels, and yaks are also used to produce yogurt. Cow’s milk is used in the United States and north-central Europe; sheep’s and goat’s milk are preferred in Turkey and south-eastern Europe; milk from the water buffalo is most commonly used in Egypt and India. Yogurt may also be produced from non-dairy products.

The Secret of a Happy Life: The Secret to a Successful Marriage

According to statistics, the divorce rate in the United States is climbing. On top of that, a recent study found that nearly half of all marriages now end in divorce. So do we need to be more cautious about who we marry? Should we think about not marrying at all?

To see marriage as permanent and something to be worked on is a healthy way to view it. It also means that you’ll want to choose wisely when finding someone you want to spend your life with. There are many benefits of marriage, but there are also some challenges you’ll need to prepare for. Let’s take a look at some advice regarding how to create a happy marriage:

Communicate

Communication is the foundation for any healthy relationship. It also is a predictor of divorce. Couples that have mastered the art of good communication are more likely to stay together. To make communication a priority, you’ll need to make time to talk with your partner. You can’t solve communication issues if you don’t talk about them.

Your highness, this is insult - OKORO

OYEYEMI

(feigns a disappointment)

My people, what can I say now? You have seen it yourself that without the knowledge of anyone of us the late chief Abiodun Kotansibe had sold his farmland to this gentleman, chief Alayemo. I mean, the document bears it all with all the witnesses and signatories.

Before now Chinedu has been assisting his father to decode the content of the document.

OKORO

(suddenly destroying the document)

Your Highness, this is insult!

ELDERS

(in a chorus)

Yes, your Highness. This is injustice!

BODE

Your Highness, how can the only fertile land in Kotansibe be sold to a complete stranger? Our only source of livelihood, given away just like that?!

Catch-Up: Taj Mahal

Catch-Up at this time focuses on the Taj Mahal. The phrase ‘Enormous mausoleum complex’ signifies one thing and that is the ‘Taj Mahal’.

Taj Mahal is an Islamic ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra commissioned in 1632 by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the remains of his third but the most favourite and beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal who died on 17 June that year, while giving birth to their 14th child, Gauhara Begum.

The magnificent multifaceted edifice also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. The tomb is the centerpiece of a 17-hectare complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall. Taj Mahal’s stunning architecture has made it one of the most iconic monuments in the world today and it also regarded as the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage.

Maħall is also the surname of Mumtaz Mahal, for whom Shah Jahan built the mausoleum.

Taj Mahal is termed the 7 wonders of the world, with the dead body of Mumtaz placed at the Banks of River Yamuna and Shah had his promised fulfilled by constructing the Taj Mahal over her grave with his dead body also laid beside Mumtaz Tomb.

INTRODUCTION: Nigeria is Today Teetering on the Precipice

Nigeria as a national entity is on the verge of collapse. All the indices of state failure are in place. There is an unprecedented level of impunity, and a never-before witnessed orgy of violence across the land. Criminal gangs are holding swathes of the Nigerian territory, bombing state infrastructures, collecting taxes, kidnapping travellers for ransom, sacking whole villages, burning down police stations, dislodging soldiers from their military outposts, abducting school children – transforming some into child soldiers and others into sex slaves, carrying out mass executions, and sending periodic threats to the Federal Government.

In the face of these brazen attacks that are equivalent to an open declaration of war, the government in place appears either utterly incapable or inexplicably unwilling to perform the primary duty of government, namely, to protect the lives and property of Nigerians, to such an extent that many Nigerians in exasperation now wonder if high level agents of government are not actually complicit in this genocidal war against innocent Nigerians. Indeed, many are beginning to believe that there are treasonous persons within the governance structure, who have resolved to destroy the Nigerian state in the manner we are witnessing today.

Negotiating Money Issues as a Couple

Money Matters

There are a few ways that a couple can negotiate their financial endeavors peacefully. Money is often a sensitive subject and it should be handled with care. Rather than need to argue over money issues, couples can discuss the issues candidly. This will help to overcome obstacles related to shared finances. They can also make money together through joint ventures, such as investments.

Making Money Together

It is possible for the couple to make money together as well. One way that a couple can do this is not by working together in their place of employment. It is actually possible to generate revenue by investing in the stock market.

Investing in the stock market is a fun activity for a couple to collaborate on. You can learn a lot about which stocks are lucrative. You can even take a course in stock market investing in order to make it a more enjoyable experience for you and your partner.

My people, I have heard your woes and seen your tears - King Oyeyemi

My people, I have heard your woes and seen your tears. You see, you are all my children. What kind of a father would relax in comfort while his children remain in pain, hunger and grief? (First Chief now whispers into his ears). My people, from today, infact this very minute King Oyeyemi’s Farms would regularly allocate eighty percent of its farm proceeds for the development of our village (Townspeople hail). Also, this new development includes Awards and Scholarships to the very brilliant children of this land, and the establishment and maintenance of public utilities, like schools, hospitals, exetera, exetera. (The people hail again and again. First Chief once again, whispers into King’s ears). People of our land, I thank you all for your praises and the maturity you have exercised on this matter.
