Rev. John Okeoghene Afareha, who was called to eternal rest on Sunday, January
18, 2026.

Bishop
Afareha, born into a life of faith and service, was ordained a Catholic priest
on December 30, 1973. He was later consecrated as Bishop on May 14, 1997, a
role in which he served with devotion and humility. His decades of ministry
