NEF 2026 and Nigeria’s Industrial Growth Agenda

The Nigeria Energy Forum (NEF) 2026 marks its 11th edition with a bold focus on industrial growth and value addition, reflecting the nation’s intensified drive to diversify its economy and strengthen local industries.

Scheduled for June 30 in Ikeja, Lagos, the forum is set to convene leading voices from energy, manufacturing, mining, finance, infrastructure, and policy sectors, positioning itself as a catalyst for Nigeria’s industrial transformation.

Dr. Daniel Adeuyi, Chairman of NEF, emphasized that this year’s gathering aims to move beyond discussions into actionable partnerships that can accelerate industrial transformation.

The theme, “Upscaling Value Addition for Sustainable Industrialisation,” underscores the forum’s commitment to practical solutions that enhance energy reliability, expand domestic manufacturing capacity, strengthen mineral development, and create sustainable jobs.

The forum promises a strong lineup of decision-makers and stakeholders. Confirmed keynote speakers include executives from All On, GEF-SGP UNDP Nigeria, NISO, Hinckley Africa, UNIDO, MTN, Odu’a Investment Company Limited, and the Nigeria Mining Cadastral Office. In addition, senior representatives from Kobold Metals, Greenage Technologies, NASENI, NCDMB, NRGI, Heifer International, African Climate Foundation, and NASCON Allied will contribute to discussions, ensuring a broad spectrum of expertise and perspectives.

Beyond industrial policy and energy solutions, NEF 2026 will also highlight innovation and youth engagement. Dr. Bamise Olanrewaju, Strategy and Innovation Co-Chair, announced that the fourth edition of the tertiary institutions students’ energy pitch contest will take place during the forum. Powered by All On, this contest commemorates the firm’s 10th anniversary and reflects the forum’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of innovators in Nigeria’s energy sector.

NEF 2026 is not just a conference but a strategic platform designed to align Nigeria’s energy agenda with industrial growth. By fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders, the forum seeks to unlock greater value from natural resources, drive sustainable industrialisation, and secure Nigeria’s place in the global industrial landscape.
