FCTA PHOTO NEWS: VISIT BY FCT AREA COUNCIL CHAIRMEN
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, received the newly elected and re-elected Chairmen of the six Area Councils of the FCT in his office at Area 11, Garki.
The new Chairmen were in the Minister's office to present him with their certificate of return following their victory in the recently concluded Area Councils elections.
The Minister congratulated the Chairmen on their victory and pledged to collaborate closely with them for the development of the FCT, regardless of their political party affiliations.
He also reminded the Chairmen that having received the required support for their victory, it was expected that they too support the President in his re-election bid, come 2027.
