We Will Deliver Tinubu in 2027, Reclaim Oyo - APC Leaders

In a bold declaration of political intent, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have announced that the party is now fully united, strategically repositioned, and determined to reclaim its political strongholds while ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

The statement was made during the grand finale of the 14-Federal Constituency Tour organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, held in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, a region described as a traditional APC stronghold.

Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, former Senate Leader and Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, emphasised that internal divisions had previously cost the APC victory in the constituency’s by-election, but insisted that unity has now been restored. He described the opposition’s win as a “fluke” and vowed that the APC would dislodge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the Agodi Government House in 2027.

Folarin further claimed that a mass exodus is underway from the PDP and other parties, with many defectors joining the APC in response to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he argued is already yielding tangible results.

Dr. Florence Ajimobi, widow of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi, praised the party’s grassroots structures for sustaining unity and rebuilding confidence, urging discipline and organisation as preparations for the next general elections intensify.

Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, added that Tinubu’s administration has achieved enough to merit another mandate, calling on residents to support the APC to sustain what he described as Nigeria’s path of progress.

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the chief host of the rally, characterised the event as only the beginning of a growing wave of support for President Tinubu. He assured that the APC is not only poised to secure Tinubu’s re-election but also to reclaim the governorship seat in Oyo State and win other elective positions.

The rally concluded with notable defections from both the PDP and Labour Party, including former council chairman Hon. Yusuf Shuab, Hon. Seun Adelore, Hon. Babatunde Olugbenga, and Hon. Afeez Abiola, who cited good governance and inclusive leadership as their reasons for joining the APC.

With the completion of the 14-Federal Constituency Tour, APC leaders such as Senators Abdulfatai Buhari, Yunus Akintunde, and Ayo Adeseun, alongside other prominent figures, pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement. They reiterated that the Renewed Hope Agenda would remain the cornerstone of their campaign as the 2027 elections draw closer.

The APC in Oyo State is projecting confidence and unity as it sets its sights on 2027. With high-profile endorsements, grassroots mobilisation, and a wave of defections strengthening its ranks, the party is positioning itself as the dominant political force in the state, determined to deliver President Tinubu another term and reclaim the governorship seat.
