If I were His Excellency Charles Soludo at this time of my re-election as the executive governor of Anambra State my first speech would be titled "A New Dawn for Anambra: My Heartfelt Gratitude and Vision for Our Future"
-By Solomon Etuk-
Victory for the People: A New Chapter Begins in Anambra
My dear
Ndi Anambra,
Today,
history has been made. With deep humility and immense gratitude, I accept the
mandate you have bestowed upon me to serve once again as your governor.
This victory is not mine alone, it is a triumph for every citizen who dared to believe in a better Anambra, who stood in line to cast their vote, and who held fast to the hope that our beloved state can rise to its full potential.
I thank
the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting a credible
election and salute all the candidates who participated in this democratic
process. Your passion and commitment to our state’s future are commendable. Let
us now move beyond competition and embrace collaboration, for Anambra’s
progress demands unity, not division.
To the
youth, you are the heartbeat of our future. Your energy, creativity, and resilience
will be the driving force behind our transformation. To our women, whose
strength sustains our homes and communities, your empowerment will be central
to our development agenda. To our elders, your wisdom will guide our path. To
our diaspora, your ideas and investments are welcome as we build a globally
competitive Anambra.
The road
ahead will not be easy, but I assure you it will be purposeful. We will continue
to tackle infrastructure decay, revamp our education system, improve
healthcare, create jobs, and ensure security. We will build a government that
listens, that is transparent, and that is accountable to you, the people.
Let this
moment mark the beginning of a new chapter. A chapter where governance is
driven by vision, not ambition; by service, not self-interest. Let us rise
together, hand in hand, to build the Anambra of our dreams, a state that is
prosperous, peaceful, and proud.
I am
ready to serve. I am ready to lead. I am ready to deliver.
Thank
you, and may God bless Anambra State. May God bless Nigeria.
Daalu.
