Report on the Dunukofia LGA Rally for Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo

The Dunukofia Local Government Area (LGA) rally held in support of the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, marked a significant political event in the build-up to the 2025 gubernatorial elections.

The rally, which took place at the Dunukofia Council Secretariat in Ukpo, was organized under the auspices of a grassroots political support group known as “Dunukofia-4-Soludo Pilot.” This group was inaugurated with the express purpose of mobilizing support and ensuring a comprehensive victory for Governor Soludo in the forthcoming election.

Mr. Emeka Okonkwo, the Convener of the “Dunukofia-4-Soludo Pilot” group and the Managing Director of the Anambra Road Transport Authority, delivered a keynote address during the inauguration. In his speech, he emphasized that the group was formed to consolidate the gains of the current administration and to ensure that the people of Dunukofia continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy. He praised Governor Soludo for his developmental strides across the state, citing improvements in infrastructure, education, and public service delivery as key accomplishments that justify his bid for a second term.

The rally also featured the formal inauguration of the local government and ward executive committees of the support group.
